Studio CIRCOLO Ceramic Membership Terms and Conditions

◾️When you join

Our studio offers one-day trial pottery classes at our Todoroki and Komazawa branches. We recommend that you visit our studio for a one-day trial class to get a feel for the atmosphere before enrolling.

You can also join both the pottery and kintsugi memberships. In that case, please contact us at studio@ceramic-circolo.com to pay the admission fee for the ceramic membership, and the kintsugi membership plan does not require an admission fee.

If you are a member of the Kintsugi membership, you can start the course in the middle of the month by paying the enrollment fee on site, as long as we do not stop accepting enrollments. In this case, please pay the monthly fee for the current month on site and purchase the next month's fee on the website at the same time.

When enrolling, please register as a member using the "Easy Reservation" reservation system. Please use the application to make reservations smoothly.

We are sorry, but due to safety concerns regarding the tools and materials we use, we restrict the age of members to 18 years old or older.

■ About enrollment

Please choose from 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 monthly fee courses. If you would like to change your course, please notify us in person or through our members-only LINE account (registered after enrollment) by the 10th of the previous month. In this case, an administration fee of 220 yen will be charged.

If you would like to enroll as a ceramics member from May, please come to the school on May 6, 9, 13, or 16 to complete the procedures and receive an orientation from the instructor before starting the course. Please be sure to make an appointment for your first session among these dates, even if you are a twice-monthly member.

Reservations can be made from the 10th of the previous month until 5:00 p.m. the day before. Members are requested to check the availability and make a reservation by themselves through the "Easy Reservation" page before taking the class.

Please note that reservations for May only will be available from Friday, April 12.

If you wish to take additional classes during the month, you can purchase an optional ticket for 4,500 yen per class. Please let us know directly or through our members-only LINE account (registered after enrollment) if you wish to take additional classes during the month.

■ Cancellation Policy

Please make any changes or cancellations to your reservation at least 24 hours prior to the class start time via "Easy Reservation". Please note that any changes or cancellations made after the above date will result in the loss of one class session.

If there is a month in which you are unable to fully complete your course, you may carry over your course until the end of the following month, but you will be charged for the course carried over from the previous month after you have completed the regular course for the following month. Please be aware of this.

(e.g.) Twice a month member: If you could take only one class in March

If you do not use the March transfer amount in April (i.e., do not take 3 lessons), the March transfer amount will be lost and will not be transferred to May.

⚠️ In April, if the March transfer is not completed, it will be lost at the end of April.

Please note that we may have to temporarily cancel classes due to the convenience of the class. In the unlikely event that a reserved class day is cancelled due to a class cancellation, the reserved class will be available for transfer until the end of the following month.

In the event that a class is cancelled due to a national holiday, workshop, or instructor's availability, we will notify you by the end of the previous month. In such cases, we will notify you by the end of the previous month.

■ About the curriculum

The curriculum for May, June, and July will basically follow the curriculum, but there is a possibility that the curriculum may be changed at any time according to the pace of each student. After that, we will be a studio without a curriculum, so that you can freely proceed at your own pace and technique.

Those who have taken the 6 or 8 times/month course for 12 months or more and who wish to continue may become instructors at Chiricolo after a practical skills test and interview. Please let the instructor know if you are interested.

Basically, we ask you to choose a certain day of the week, but you can make a reservation for any day of the week.
